Olivgrüner Bagger T 174-2 mit Grundräumgreifer T 175- B /01 Typ Köthen, er wurde hauptsächlich für Meliorationsarbeiten eingesetzt. Beim Wasserabfluss werden je nach Fließgeschwindigkeit Sedimente und andere biologische Bestandteile, wie z.B. Laub mitgeführt, das sich in Abschnitten mit geringer Fließgeschwindigkeit ablagert – die Gewässersohle erhöht sich. Alljährliche Grabenschauen und das Meliorationskataster sind Voraussetzung für das Veranlassen einer Grundräumung. Eine Erhöhung der Gewässersohle von bis zu 30 cm machen eine Grundräumung notwendig.
