Die Boeing 757-200™ ist die gängigste Variante der Schmalrumpfversion der Boeing 757™, die seit 1982 produziert wird. Die Mittelklasse 757-200™ wurde vom US-Flugzeughersteller Boeing als Ersatz für die erfolgreiche 727™ entwickelt. Der Jet wird von 2 Triebwerkstypen angetrieben, RR und P&W. Ab 2005 rüsteten einige Fluggesellschaften ihre Flugzeuge mit Winglets aus, um die Treibstoffeffizienz zu verbessern. Das Flugzeug wurde zu einem der erfolgreichsten Passagiermodelle des amerikanischen Herstellers und ist noch immer in den Flotten vieler Fluggesellschaften im Einsatz.
Insgesamt wurden von 1982 - 2005 1.050 Boeing 757™ Verkehrsflugzeuge produziert, darunter 80 Flugzeuge der Frachtversion 757-200PF™.
