Der Trabant 601 war das dritte und meistgebaute Modell der Trabant-Baureihe. Er wurde unter der Typenbezeichnung P601 von 1964 bis 1990 im VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke in Zwickau gebaut. Ab 1978 wurde der Tramp produziert, die zivile Ausführung des für die NVA produzierten Trabant 601 Kübel. Nachdem der Trabi bei Herpa schon seit 1990 im Programm ist, folgt nun nach 20 Jahren eine weitere Formvariante mit dem NVA-Kübel.. Artikel in verschiedenen Farben produziert. Gelieferte Farbe kann vom Bild abweichen.
