Die SU-122 ist eine mittlere sowjetische Panzerhaubitze, die auf der Basis des T-34-Panzers gebaut und mit der 122-mm-Kanone M-30S bewaffnet ist. Die Produktion begann Anfang 1943 und dauerte bis Mitte 1944, als sie durch die effektivere SU-85 ersetzt wurde. Dieses Fahrzeug war eine der ersten in der UdSSR entwickelten Selbstfahrlafetten, die in großem Maßstab hergestellt wurden. Insgesamt wurden 1.150 SU-122 hergestellt.
