Aufgrund der wieder erstarkten Nachfrage nach Flügen weltweit hat auch Lufthansa zügig bereits nahezu alle 747-8 wieder aktiviert. Nach und nach wird auch die Jumbo-Flotte in den Genuss eines neuen Farbkleids kommen, so auch D-ABYC, benannt nach dem Freistaat Sachsen. Lange Zeit war D-ABYA die einzige 747-8 im aktuellen Corporate Design.
