Z Gauge - Z Scale
Z scale in 1:220 allows layouts in the smallest of spaces, but has a less extensive range of models. However, those who like to run trains on longer and more generously laid out tracks will accept this restriction at home and will be able to accommodate relatively natural-looking landscapes in a small room.
For the nominal size Z, the following model gauges are specified in the European Model Railway Standards (NEM) for the scale 1:220.
