Die von den Lokomotiven der ESU Engineering Edition seit Ende 2021 bekannte, vielfach optimierte elektromagnetische Digitalkupplung ist nun auch separat zur Nachrüstung von Fahrzeugen mit NEM-Schacht verfügbar.

Dank der integrierten Höhenverstellung lässt sich die Kupplung einfach an das zur Nachrüstung vorgesehene Triebfahrzeug anpassen. Zwei hochflexible Kabel mit zweipoligem Stecker (passend für einige ESU Lokomotiven) sind bereits an der Kupplung angelötet.

Die Kupplung kuppelt und entkuppelt alle am Markt üblichen Bügelkupplungen (auch aus magnetischem Material), der ESU- und Roco®-Universalkupplung sowie der Märklin®-Kurzkupplung.

Zur Ansteuerung wird ein ESU LokSound 5 oder LokPilot 5 dringend empfohlen, da diese über den passenden Ansteuermodus verfügen.
