Level wurde 2017 als Low-Cost-Langstreckenfluggesellschaft innerhalb der IAG, der International Airline Group um British Airways und Iberia, gegründet. Im selben Jahr startete sie Transatlantik-Flüge ab Barcelona. Nach einer gescheiterten Expansion in den europäischen Kurzstreckenmarkt konzentriert sich die Airline heute wieder auf Strecken nach Nord- und Südamerika ab ihrer Basis in Barcelona. Fünf A330-200 sind derzeit im Einsatz, ein sechstes Flugzeug soll in Kürze hinzukommen.
