Elektrolokomotive 103 232 der Deutschen Bundesbahn.■ Ausführung mit langem Führerstand und Einholmstromabnehmer■ Das Spitzenlicht kann mit Hilfe von Kontaktblechen ganz oder teilweise abgeschaltet werden■ Z21 Führerstand verfügbarIn den 1960er Jahren entstand mit der Baureihe E 03 die bis dahin stärkste Elektrolokomotive für den Einsatz im Reisezugverkehr bei der Deutschen Bundesbahn. Von 1970 bis 1974 wurden insgesamt 145 Serienlokomotiven gebaut und offiziell als Baureihe 103.1 bezeichnet. Optisch gelten die 103er bis heute als eine der formschönsten Elektrolokomotiven.
