Elektro-Schnellfahrlok Baureihe E 19 der Deutschen Reichsbahn (DRG 1937–1949).■ Ausführung mit Frontschürzen und ReichsadlerUm die Baureihe E 19 als Schnellfahrlokomotive zu kennzeichnen, wurden die Loks zunächst in weinroter Lackierung ausgeliefert. Aufgrund des II. Weltkriegs nahm man den geplanten Schnellverkehr zwischen Berlin und München nicht auf. Die Maschinen wurden stattdessen im „normalen“ Schnellzugverkehr eingesetzt.
