Modell mit eingebautem, lastgeregelten Digital-Decoder, ab Werk mit vorbildgerechtem Sound ausgestattet.
Metalldruckguss-Fahrgestell. Motor mit Schwungmasse. Antrieb auf 4 Achsen mit 2 Haftreifen. Kulissengeführte Kurzkupplungsaufnahme nach NEM 355.
Dreilicht-LED-Spitzenbeleuchtung und rote Zugschlussbeleuchtung, mit der Fahrtrichtung wechselnd.
Nach dem Ausscheiden aus dem Fernverkehr beförderte die verkehrsrot lackierte Baureihe 110.3 bei der Deutschen Bahn AG Regionalzüge. Die Lokomotiven besaßen zuletzt Lüfter der Bauart Klatte.
