Parallel zur Vorserienmaschine, die von BAC in Großbritannien gebaut wurde, entstand bei Aerospatiale in Frankreich dieses zweite Exemplar. Bevor mit der Serienfertigung gestartet werden konnte, wurde das Flugzeug ausgiebig getestet. Zum 50. Jubiläum des Erstflugs des Überschallflugzeuges erscheint nun diese Concorde in der Werksbemalung in limitierter Auflage. Das Modell der Schwestermaschine aus britischer Produktion mit der Kennung G-AXDN wurde bereits vor einigen Jahren exklusiv für den Herpa Wings Club produziert
