Vor 65 Jahren hob der erfolgreiche Passagierjet der ersten Generation zum Erstflug ab. Grund genug, im Lauf des Jahres dieses für die seinerzeit junge europäische Zivilluftfahrt wichtige Jubiläum mit einer kleinen Serie von Modellen in 1:500 zu würdigen. Bereits angekündigt wurde ein Modell der Transavia (Art.-Nr. 533997), nun folgt ein Exemplar der Swissair, die insgesamt neun der Twinjets im Einsatz hatte.
