Die nationale Fluggesellschaft der Czechoslowakei setzte ab 1960 insgesamt zwölf IL-18 auf Strecken innerhalb Europas, aber auch auf der Langstrecke bis nach Havanna, New York oder Montreal ein. Das Modell erscheint in der Farbvariante, mit der das Original 1962 in Dienst gestellt wurde. Da die „Federn“ des stilisierten Vogels recht niedrig unterhalb der Fenster platziert waren, wurden diese öfters als „vousy“ bezeichnet, dem tschechischen Wort für Bart.
