Das Schweizer Logistikunternehmen für kombinierte Verkehre Hupac bestellte bei Siemens acht Güterzuglokomotiven vom Typ Vectron MS. Die Mehrsystem-Fahrzeuge ermöglichen es den mit Hupac kooperierenden Betreibern, die europäischen Wirtschaftsräume mit dem Betrieb durch den neuen Gotthard-Basistunnel zusammenzubringen. Im Januar 2019 erhielten die Loks 193 490 und 491 das offizielle Hupac-Design.
