Benannt nach Kadavu, der viertgrößten Insel Fidschis, war DQ-FAB die erste von derzeit fünf Boeing 737 Max, die an den Inselstaat im Südpazifik ausgeliefert wurde. Die 737 Max werden auf Strecken im Zentral- und Südpazifik eingesetzt, zum Beispiel nach Australien, Hawaii, Neuseeland, Samoa oder Tonga. Bisherige Modelle der Airline im Maßstab 1:500 waren immer schnell ausverkauft, was sicherlich auch auf die ungewöhnliche Lackierung mit dem traditionellen Muster am Triebwerk und am Heck zurückzuführen ist.
