Das Nachfolgemodell des Multicar M22, der M24-0, wurde ab 1974 im VEB Fahrzeugwerk Waltershausen gebaut. Mit deutlich mehr Leistung (45 PS) erreichte der Kleinlastwagen 50 km/h. Zunächst wieder nur mit Einzelkabine, wurde 1977 der M24-0 mit Beifahrerplatz gebaut. Für das Fahrzeug wurden verschiedene Aufbauten entwickelt, u.a. eine Drehleiter, ein Muldenkipper, eine Pritsche mit Ladehilfe u.v.m.
Das fein detaillierte und bedruckte Modell wird mit einem Kofferaufbau ausgestattet.
